Miss Gianna is owner and director of Little Acorn Academy. With a passion for providing quality education to young children and a master's degree in early childhood education, she has thoughtfully designed a program rooted in best practices. Miss Karen has been a lead preschool teacher at our center since Little Acorn Academy opened its doors almost a decade ago. She is a seasoned childcare worker and mom of two with a passion for nurturing young children. In her 10+ years in the field, she has gone through professional development programs such as LearnERS and completed her Associate's degree in education. She believes in hands-on learning and prioritizes learning through play in her classroom. She is the perfect lead teacher for our oldest classroom, in which most students are preparing to enter kindergarten. Miss Aliyah brings a bright, fun, and energetic personality to our preschool classroom! She is committed to helping our youngest students develop their inhibition control, expand their vocabularies, and grow their fine and gross motor skills, as well as to helping students reach important milestones such potty training. She is also working on obtaining a degree in early childhood education. Miss Euriza is a seasoned member of our team, and when not at the center, she also works in pediatric healthcare. She is a fun and engaging personality in all of our classrooms and is dedicated to continuing professional development! Miss Gabby has three years of experience working with infants and toddlers and is a fabulous lead teacher for some of our smallest learners. In her classroom, Miss Gabby focuses on developing self-help skills, language skills, motor skills, and social skills. Outside of the classroom, Miss Gabby has completed training in the Rhode Island Early Learning Development Standards and is working on obtaining a degree in early childhood education. Miss Danielle, a long-time member of our team, is a teacher's assistant who floats between the preschool or toddler rooms as needed. She is a dedicated mom and an amazing childcare worker. Miss Patti is the founder of Little Acorn Academy and has been with the center since its inception almost a decade ago. After so many years in the field, Miss Patti has elected to return to the classroom and help nurture our youngest students. In addition to her decades of teaching experience, Miss Patti has a bachelor's degree and is certified in the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards levels 1 and 2. She is passionate about helping students to develop a strong foundation of skills that they can take with them through the rest of their education. Hometown: Lincoln, RI!
